ECE 2011

Conference Background

The University of Salford has hosted four previous ECE Conferences. The conference is organised through the University of Salford's Learning and Teaching Research Network (LTRN) and through the Higher Education Research Centre (HERC). The conference plays a key role in supporting the scholarship of teaching, learning and evidence informed practice within the University.

The work of LTRN and HERC in relation to developing events for the presentation of and dissemination of research into key aspects of higher education that focuses on the student experience and reflective practice has been pivotal in the growing interest in the conference. The fifth ECE Conference is aimed at research from a wide constituency of researchers and practitioners in post - compulsory education.
